If you wish we can draw up documents to make you the rightful copyright owner of the 3D model.

3D Printing service

All 3D models and prototypes that we work with stay within Shaperize servers. For you confidence we can also sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect Your rights.

3D printing time depends on the details and quantities. We can produce smaller models within a day or two but for larger details or quantities the order might take 2-4 days.

As we mostly use seven Zortrax M200 3D printers to offer our services then we can also offer small batch orders. For example 10 000 pieces of 5 gram details can be produced within 2-3 weeks.

We mostly use our Zortrax printers for offering services so the build area is around 200 x 200 x 185mm. However, it is possible to print out objects in multible pieces and later on bond them together with acetone which leaves a really strong chemical connection between multible pieces of plastic. In this way we have even done parts as big as 700mm.

No problem! You can also find a suitable model from thingiverse.com or cgtrader.comIf you need some custom details done then we also offer 3D modeling services.

The price of 3D printing depends on the following:

  • Used material
  • Print time
  • Complexity of detail
  • Special materials
  • Post-processing
  • Quantity (ordering in bulk is cheaper)

We mostly accept the following formats: STL, OBJ, DAE, DXF or 3MF. If you are having problems converting your file to one of these formats then please forward your 3D model to our email and we will try and convert it ourselves.

Our online quote system only accepts STL or OBJ format files or the same files in a ZIP folder.

3D Scanning service

Some surfaces are hard to scan because we mostly use a light-based 3D scanner which cannot work with shiny or transparent surfaces.

3D scanning may seem very tempting as it is a lot faster simpler but it’s not the best solution for all details

Suitable to 3D scan: 

  • Smaller sculptures
  • Round objects that might be hard to 3D model
  • Plaster copies
  • Objects that don’t require very high resolution
  • Human, human face – for making figurines

Suitable for 3D modeling:

  • Complex details that require higher precision
  • Very small details
  • Very large details
  • Shiny details
